ClipSave Privacy
How ClipSave handles your data and privacy on iOS.
Last updated: 18 December 2025
Who we are
ClipSave is developed and operated by 8 Bit Sprite Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
What ClipSave does
ClipSave helps you save and organise links to short‑form videos from social and video platforms so you can find them again later. The app stores information locally on your device and does not require an account.
Information we store in the app
ClipSave stores the following information on your device:
- Links (URLs) you choose to save
- Titles and optional notes you add
- Categories and layout / appearance preferences
- Optional thumbnail images associated with a clip
This data is saved using Apple’s on‑device storage technologies (SwiftData and App Groups) and is not automatically backed up to any server controlled by 8 Bit Sprite Limited.
What we do not collect
ClipSave does not:
- Collect analytics about how you use the app
- Collect personal identifiers such as name, email or phone number
- Send your saved clips or notes to our servers
- Integrate third‑party advertising or tracking SDKs
Third‑party services
ClipSave lets you open links in third‑party apps and websites such as social networks or video platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control how those services handle your data.
Payments
ClipSave is sold via the Apple App Store. Payments and billing information are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment details.
Your choices
- You can delete any clip or category from within the app.
- Deleting the ClipSave app from your device will remove locally stored data associated with the app.
